destiny online catalog

Destiny Online Catalog Access

Destiny is the cataloging and resource system used in the library. Your username and password is the same as your computer sign in.

To access, go to the school library website at the link below:
Park Hill High School Library

Destiny can also be accessed via the district portal or by typing "phdestiny" into the address bar on your school issued computer.

Student Passes

Students visiting the LMC should have their school ID and a pass to be presented at the front kiosk upon arrival. When ready to return to class, don’t forget to sign out at the front desk. Signing in verifies the student’s library visit should an attendance question arise, or the student needs to be located for some reason.

Library Book Check Out

Books may be checked out for two weeks, with the option to renew for an additional two weeks. Late fees will assessed at the rate of $.10 per day up to a $5.00 maximum overdue fine. Students will receive overdue textbook and  library book reminders via the district provided email account.

Textbook Check Out

Textbooks and calculators are checked out through the Destiny library circulation system.  Before you return a textbook to your teacher, make sure you have scanned it in through the library system. IMPORTANT:  All textbooks must be returned to the library at the end of the course or students will be charged for the cost of the textbook.

Student Expectations

The library's collection is full of valuable print and digital resources for teachers and students, and also provides space for quiet study, silent reading, computer work, collaboration, and research. Maintaining a welcoming, supportive, purposeful and productive academic environment is our goal.  All district and school policies are enforced, including behavior expectations and the computer user agreement signed by all students. No food or drink in the library, please.

Printing

A print station is located just outside the library for student printing.
