The Park Hill Talking Trojans have earned the Prestigious Societe’ de 300 given to the top 1% of Speech and
Debate Schools in the country. Park Hill has more than 300 members and degrees. This makes them one of the largest programs in the country.They will continue to build on their legacy of excellence as they finish out their
semester at the Independence Winter Classic. Wish them luck.

    Park Hill High School Performing Arts Presents Newsies

    They delivered the papers, until they made headlines…Newsies, the smash-hit, crowd-pleasing musical from Disney is now playing at Park Hill High School. A two-time Tony Award-winning show, Newsies has audiences and critics alike calling it “a musical worth singing about!” (The New York Times). Filled with one heart-pounding number after another, it’s a high-energy explosion of song and dance you don’t want to miss.

    Now is the time to seize the day with Newsies, playing November 15-17 at Park Hill High School.

    Tickets go on sale to the public on Thursday, October 25. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

  • Late Finals: Students who are taking late finals will go to the Main Office at Park Hill South between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Please call Ms. Lowe at 816-359-5508 to make an appointment to take late finals. Students are required to provide a photo ID to enter the building.



    2019-2020 REGISTRATION DATES/TIMES

    Wednesday, 7/31: Senior Registration; 9:00am - 11:30am

    Wednesday, 7/31: Junior Registration; 1:30pm - 4:00pm

    Thursday, 8/1: Sophomore Registration; 9:00am - 11:30am

    Thursday, 8/1: Freshman Registration; 1:30pm - 4:00pm

    Thursday, 8/1: All Grades Evening Make-Up Registration; 6:00pm - 7:00pm

    Tuesday, 8/6: All Grades Evening Make-Up Registration; 5:30pm - 7:00pm



    WHAT HAPPENS AT REGISTRATION?
    All families of returning students are required to complete Online Verification and Residency to verify their students' demographic, health, emergency contact and residency information for the 2019-2020 school year. If returning families do not complete this process before registration, they will need to do it then. All details of the Online Verification and Residency process are available on the district website.

    *At Registration students will receive a copy of their class schedule, a current transcript, and other important information. Immunizations will be verified by our school nurse. Students may not attend school if immunizations are not current.

    *Each student will receive a laptop at Registration for school and home use. Be sure to complete the online laptop/technology forms included with the verification/residency process so your student can receive a laptop.

    *Fees & fines may be paid at Registration by cash or check payable to PHHS. Fees & fines may also be paid online in the Parent Portal. Fines carry over from the previous year, and also carry over from middle school.

    *Students will be assigned a locker and locker combination. All students share a locker with one other student. Students who did not pre-select a locker partner last spring should decide on a locker partner of their same grade and gender before registration. All students are required to have a free ID photo taken at registration. Please dress appropriately.

    *Free yearbook photos will be taken by Reed Portrait Group, however, various picture packets may be purchased. Order packets will be available at Registration.

    • If a student is not able to attend Registration at their assigned date and time, a parent or guardian may pick up schedules and pay fees for their student during their registration time or during the make-up sessions. Do not come to registration on a date other than your specified date and time. Your materials will not be available.
