The Park Hill Talking Trojans have earned the Prestigious Societe’ de 300 given to the top 1% of Speech and
Debate Schools in the country. Park Hill has more than 300 members and degrees. This makes them one of the largest programs in the country.They will continue to build on their legacy of excellence as they finish out their
semester at the Independence Winter Classic. Wish them luck.

    Park Hill High School Performing Arts Presents Newsies

    They delivered the papers, until they made headlines…Newsies, the smash-hit, crowd-pleasing musical from Disney is now playing at Park Hill High School. A two-time Tony Award-winning show, Newsies has audiences and critics alike calling it “a musical worth singing about!” (The New York Times). Filled with one heart-pounding number after another, it’s a high-energy explosion of song and dance you don’t want to miss.

    Now is the time to seize the day with Newsies, playing November 15-17 at Park Hill High School.

    Tickets go on sale to the public on Thursday, October 25. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

    Attention AP Students - The freshman pre-admission session is today during homeroom. You MUST attend a pre-admission session to complete your AP paperwork. All freshman students will meet in the Cafe' Annex.


    If you are signed up to work International Day, remember work day is TODAY after school in the library atrium.


    If you are planning to purchase tickets for Prom, your name cannot appear on the fine list. Please check the fine lists posted throughout the building. If you name appears on the list and you feel this is a mistake, please come to the office and speak with an administrator. The complete list of outstanding fees and discipline will be compiled just prior to ticket sales. Please note that if you are assigned OSS or ISS you will also be ineligible to attend Prom.


    Any girls interested in playing softball this coming fall, there will be a meeting, Tuesday, May 7th at 2:45pm in room 331. If you cannot attend, but are interested in playing, please stop by sometime and talk with Coach Qualls.


    This week during lunch Sophomore Exec will be selling flowers for $2 to raise money for flood relief in northwest Missouri. We will take orders all this week and deliver the flowers one day next week. Send a flower to a friend and support a good cause!


    Jostens will be here on Thursday, April 18, during lunch in the wrestling gym, to deliver senior cap and gown orders. If you still have a balance on your Jostens order and have not picked up your items please see the sales rep at that time. This is the last scheduled visit by Jostens to deliver senior items.


    Help us celebrate and raise awareness for this upcoming Earth Day on April 22nd. Conservation Club is hosting a Spirit Week, April 15 -19, and we want you to help us raise awareness by dressing up.

    Don’t forget that StuCo applications and reference forms, found on Schoology, are due by 4/30/19. Please be sure to fill out the application and complete the character reference form.


    Only 44 yearbooks are left to purchase then we will be sold out! Sales will close for the year on Friday, April 19. You can purchase at www.yearbookforever.com or through the parent portal. Contact Ms. Carnes with any questions.



    Prom is Saturday, May 4 at the Airport Hilton. Tickets will be on sale Wednesday, April 24 - Wednesday, May 1 at lunch. Tickets are $50 for Park Hill Seniors and $55 for Juniors, underclassmen who are invited by a Junior or Senior, and guests. Guest forms can be picked up in the office and are due back to the office no later than Monday, April 29.
