Tuesday is designated as Constitution Day to commemorate the signing of the U.S. Constitution in Philadelphia in 1787 and to celebrate those who have become American citizens. Stay tuned for a brief announcement on Tuesday at the beginning of 3rd block.


Attention Bowling Club and prospective Bowling Club members: There will be a brief informational meeting this Thursday, September 19th in room 409. The meeting should last approximately 15 minutes and we will discuss the goals and logistics of the club this year as we attempt to defend our district title. See Mr. Shore in room 409 if you cannot attend or have questions.

These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the National Merit Competition for some 7,600 scholarships worth more than $31 million that will be offered next spring. our very own Jerra Creason is a National Merit Semi-finalist. Congratulations Jerra!

The Park Hill Talking Trojans have earned the Prestigious Societe’ de 300 given to the top 1% of Speech and
Debate Schools in the country. Park Hill has more than 300 members and degrees. This makes them one of the largest programs in the country.They will continue to build on their legacy of excellence as they finish out their
semester at the Independence Winter Classic. Wish them luck.

    Park Hill High School Performing Arts Presents Newsies

    They delivered the papers, until they made headlines…Newsies, the smash-hit, crowd-pleasing musical from Disney is now playing at Park Hill High School. A two-time Tony Award-winning show, Newsies has audiences and critics alike calling it “a musical worth singing about!” (The New York Times). Filled with one heart-pounding number after another, it’s a high-energy explosion of song and dance you don’t want to miss.

    Now is the time to seize the day with Newsies, playing November 15-17 at Park Hill High School.

    Tickets go on sale to the public on Thursday, October 25. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

    On September 11th, the names of 16,000 National Merit Semi-Finalists were announced. These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the National Merit Competition for some 7,600 scholarships worth more than $31 million that will be offered next spring. We are very proud to announce that

You are eligible if you had a 3.5 or higher GPA for last year. This is your average of both terms/weighted grading scale - not your cumulative GPA.
