Any junior or senior who is excited about keeping up spirit at Park Hill High School is encouraged to join TARKUS. Our first meeting will be on Thursday, August 23 after school in room 103. Any questions, please see Mr. Harman.

If you are looking for a good book to read or other learning resources, the school library is continuing our strong partnership with Mid-Continent Public Library! Stop by the school library for more information on our Interlibrary Loan Services!

The first meeting of the COMMON GROUND CLUB will be Thursday, August 23 after school until 3:30 in the SAV. All are welcome, so please join to makes some plans for an exciting year!

ROBOTICS CLUB: The Trobots will be having their first meeting of the year Tuesday after school in Room 420 with a parent meeting to follow at 6 PM in Room 420. We need individuals for programming, mechanical, electrical, design, and PR roles and no prior experience is required.

SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) will host their first meeting on Thursday, August 23rd immediately after school in the 300 pod south.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Cavaleri in room 338.

C and D TEAM SOCCER practice is cancelled for Monday, August 20th.  Varsity and JV will practice indoors at Congress.

Attention SENIORS: Please see Mrs. Reys and Mr. Abundis in the A Plus office to sign-up for MAT hours.  Slots are filling up quickly, so sign-up today!

PARKING STICKERS will be placed on cars Thursday morning 8/23 beginning @ 7am.  Please park your car on the curb at the front entrance no later than 7:20am.  Anyone arriving after that time will need to wait for another date.  You will need a current driver’s license, registration and insurance.  No stickers will be issued without this information.  Please have the paperwork out and ready before you come in to the building.

Any students wanting to order a 2018 Girls Soccer State Championship t-shirt can stop by room 522 to see Mr. Bell! Cost is $15.

SOPHOMORES: Jostens will be here on Thursday, August 23, in the auditorium during homeroom, with your Class Ring Premier. Info packets and order forms will be distributed. 

Attention all seniors interested in applying for National Honor Society. Applications are available outside room 323. Please see Mr. Meyer if you have any questions. 

Any student interested in auditioning or working backstage for the fall musical, “Newsies” is invited to attend a workshop and informational meeting on Monday, August 27th  at 2:45 in Room 531.  Students will receive information about backstage positions, the audition process, and the rehearsal schedule. The audition songs will be
reviewed so that students may prepare prior to auditions.  The workshop is very helpful when preparing for the audition, but it is not required. Please see Mrs. Sandau in Room 540 if you have any questions.

THESPIANS will have their first meeting of the year on Tuesday, August 21st after school in Room 540. Every student who is interested in drama is welcome to attend! Please see Mrs. Sandau if you have any questions.

STEP TEAM Workshop will be next week Monday-Thursday (August 20-23). Tryouts will be on Friday, August 24 from 2:45-4:30 in the cafeteria.  You must attend the Workshop in order to try out. Step Team is open to all Park Hill students to try out and be a part of something AWESOME!
