Dr. Kincheloe's message for the 2019-2020 school year: PERSIST UNTIL YOU SUCCEED.

The Park Hill School District has received approval from the USDA to provide free meals (one breakfast and one lunch per day) to all area children ages 0-18 through the end of July. You will still be able to come get free meals at our pick-up locations. On Thursdays and Fridays, you can also pick up a free box of fruits and vegetables, while supplies last. 

Pick-up locations are: Congress Middle, Walden Middle, Graden Elementary and Tiffany Ridge Elementary schools between 11 am and 1 pm, Monday through Friday.

Adult meals are also available for purchase ($2.00 for breakfast and $3.50 for lunch).

Park Hill High School Families,

We have started our summer conditioning program at Park Hill High School. As stated previously, we have worked diligently to develop plans for the return to conditioning, practices, and camps this summer in a safe and responsible manner. Today, I wanted to reiterate some important information to keep in mind:

• It is the expectation that ALL student-athletes sign up for the conditioning sessions they will attend daily. This helps us keep a record of who is coming on each day, and also helps us manage the numbers to ensure physical distancing expectations can be met.

• Student-athletes must have a signed permission slip in order to participate in summer activities.  A permission slip is attached to this email. Student-athletes may bring this on their first day of conditioning, or you may email the signed permission slip to singletarya@parkhill.k12.mo.us .

• For the period of June 15 - June 30, we will have conditioning sessions outside on our fields. We will not use any sport-specific equipment or weights during this time. Our goal is to work our student-athletes back into shape, and avoid injuries while doing so.

• Students need to bring their own water bottle. 

• Please see the attached document that outlines safety protocols we are following during this time. 

Band will begin their practices no earlier than June 15. Band directors will communicate their schedules and safety protocols to their students.

Additionally, camps previously scheduled for the month of June have been pushed to July, assuming we are allowed to have them per Platte County Health Department guidelines. Preliminary camp dates are also attached to this communication.

We will share this information in our school newsletter, and we will also post it on our school website. If you have any questions, please contact your specific coach about sports, activities, or strength and conditioning. As is common during a pandemic, all of these plans are subject to change given protocols we are following from the Platte County Health Department. We appreciate your patience as we navigate through this unprecedented time. The safety of our Trojans is a priority for all of us. Take care.
