Physicals for the 2019-2020 school year will be performed by St. Luke’s Sports Medicine Specialists free of charge. MSHSAA has voted to change their policy, requiring physicals only every two years. Due to this change, we would like to get physicals and impact on the same schedule, so incoming freshmen and incoming juniors will need a physical and impact, and incoming 7th graders will need physicals at the middle school.

Anyone that had a physical last year will have that physical carried over for the 2019-2020 school year. They are valid for 2 years from the date of the actual exam. This year, we are asking that any 10th graders that will be juniors for the 2019-2020 school year get a physical, and will then not need one for their senior year.

The only other athletes that would need a physical are incoming freshmen (current 8th graders), or anyone that did not participate in a sport last year. With the addition of middle school sports, we are also inviting any middle school athletes needing physicals for next year to our high school physical events. The event dates for the PHSD are as follows:

Park Hill High School (Congress and Plaza Middle Schools): the June 5th 2019, 9-11 am in the lower gym.

When:  Wednesday June 5th, 9-11

Where:  Park Hill High School -  Lower Gym

Cost: FREE

You will need a physical form filled out and signed by your parent/guardian in order to be seen by the doctor. Physical forms can be found in the office, the training room or the upper gym.

Doctors are only available until 11 on June 5th. We will stop taking athletes at 10:50 in order to get everyone through to the doctor.
