Dear Park Hill Families,

As we work to keep your child and their coaches safe this summer, we have some important updates and reminders about our conditioning and camps.

Youth Camps:

In order to minimize the number of people exposed to each other, we made the difficult decision to cancel our camps for younger children. We are so sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment this will cause.

High School Camps:

We will still hold our high school sports and activities camps, taking as many precautions as possible. When you are deciding whether to send your child, please keep in mind that we cannot provide social distancing at these camps. These camps and practices are optional, and your child will still be able to participate once school starts, whether or not they participate this summer.

Your child must stay home if sick. We will give you a card with these symptoms, so you can screen your child for illness before sending them to school each day:

  • Fever

According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, a fever is 100.4 F or greater.

  • Cough
  • Rash
  • Sore throat
  • Shortness of breath
  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Fatigue
  • Headache
  • Muscle pain
  • Lack of appetite
  • Loss of taste or smell

We also wanted to reiterate the following:

  • It is the expectation that ALL Student-athletes sign up for the conditioning sessions they will attend daily. This helps us keep a record of who is coming on each day, and also helps us manage the numbers to ensure physical distancing expectations can be met.
    • The link for student-athletes signing-in can be found HERE
    • The link for student-athletes signing out can be found HERE
  • Camps will have their own sign-in process
  • Student-athletes must have a signed permission slip in order to participate in summer activities.
  • Students need to bring their own water bottle.

Below you will find several important documents in regards to protocols for summer conditioning, camps, and activities, camp schedules, and the summer camp forms. We will beginning this on July 6th.

Thank you for partnering with us in our ongoing efforts to keep all our students and staff safe.
