Please congratulate the girls soccer team on their state quarterfinal victory over St. Teresa’s on Saturday. The Lady Trojans won the match 2-0, with goals by Alyssa Ramos and Alison Walls, and assists by Walls and Jordan Austin. Kelbey Emerson recorded the shut-out. This is an especially meaningful victory for our seniors, who have come up just short in the quarterfinals in each of the last three years.

The team moves onto “State” (AKA the Final Four) on Friday and Saturday at Swope Park. This marks the first final four appearance for our girls program since 1993. The team will face Jackson at 6pm on Friday in the semi-final, and depending on the result of Friday’s game will play for 3rd place at noon or for the championship at 4pm.

This weekend at the state track meet, the girls team placed 5th in the state and were just 2 points short of being 3rd. Please congratulate the following student-athletes on an outstanding season! The following are results from the weekend.
