On February 27th all 9th-11th graders at PHHS will be taking the state administered ACT exam. Students will be testing with their regular HR teacher, but most likely in a different classroom on this day. Please listen for additional announcements with information and check the information posted outside the library and upper gym
with specific testing locations. On Thursday, Feb. 22 all students will report to their new testing location to complete pre-admission requirements for the Feb. 27 test.

Seniors- Turn in your permission slip for Community Service Day ASAP!  They are past due, so get them turned in to the box in front of SAV today. 

SENIORS: Jostens will be here Wednesday, February 21st during lunch to deliver graduation announcement orders. If you have a balance due, please bring it at this time with cash or money order only.(Checks are not accepted as payment.)  If you need to place a cap and gown order, please the the sales rep.

Students & Parents -- a reminder that our school's front doors are locked before school each morning. Those students who are dropped off at the front should remind their drivers they need to be dropped off at the east side of the building near the 20's hall entrance gate. This will help with the flow of traffic and prevents back-ups onto Barry Road. 

Second term parent-teacher conferences will take place this Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5 to 8pm. Parents are able to sign up for conferences online again this year. This year we will also be offering a quick meal for parents and childcare for younger siblings while parents meet with teachers. School will not be in session on Friday, February 16 and Monday, February 19. Tuesday, February 20th will be a white day.

Trojan Gamers -- Meet Wednesday, Feb. 14th after school in room 331 from 2:45 to 3:45PM. 

The annual Hire KC Youth Job Fair is coming up on Saturday, March 24, from 9-Noon at the Maple Woods CC – Business & Technology campus. Attendees will discover 100 booths with job and internship opportunities for this summer. The Hire KC Job Fair is one of Kansas City's largest job fairs hosted just for Kansas City's young people to gain access to our City's private, public and nonprofit employers that provide Summer Jobs and Internship Opportunities. THINGS TO KNOW: This event is free and open to all pre-registered young people. Dress code is business professional. No jeans, tennis shoes or any street attire will be accepted. Park Hill High School 2018 Summer School forms are now available!!
The application for high-school enrollment is available online and in counselors' offices. Applications are due May 11 by noon to make sure transportation is available. Summer school bus routes and stops may vary from those of the regular school year and will be assigned based on student enrollment turned in by the deadline. Enrollees after this date will be assigned to an existing bus stop.
All high school PE courses will be held at Congress Middle School. Except for PE courses, Park Hill South High School students will attend Park Hill South. Park Hill High School students will go to Congress for all courses.
The first session for high school is May 30-June 19, and the second session is June 20-July 13, with no classes on July 4-6. Look for the application in late March.
The high school times are 7:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

Please remember that we are not able to accept deliveries of flowers, balloons, candy, etc. for students at PHHS. These items will need to be delivered to your home address.

On Friday, February 9th Park Hill DECA competed in the District Career Development Conference. While at UMKC students were working to qualify for the State Conference in March. Park Hill DECA had a terrific day in their competitive events. They were very professional and represented Park Hill extremely well. We left the event with 23 State Qualifiers and eight First Place District Champions!
