Attention seniors!  Panoramic pictures will be taken during homeroom on Monday, September 25th.  Your homeroom teacher will pass out order forms on Thursday.  If you would like to order a picture, have your order form and payment back to school on Monday before picture time.  You can drop off your order in the attendance office.

Homecoming tickets will only be sold for 2 more days!!  Get your ticket Wednesday or Thursday or you’ll be left out of the fun.  We hope to see you all there.

We have just received notice that seniors Anthony Alfieri, Shannon Iverson, Zachary Mikuls and Lawrence Suba have been honored as Commended Students in the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Program. They placed among the top 50,000 scorers of more than 1.6 million students who entered the 2018 competition by taking the 2016 PSAT. These young men and women are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Congratulations! 

Attention Bowling Club, and all those who still might be interested in joining: practice will officially begin on Thursday, October 5th. Listen to announcements that week for more details, or stop by and see Mr. Shore in room 520 if you have any questions or are interested in joining. Voting for seniors for homecoming queen is now open!  There is a link on Schoology for all seniors to vote for their chosen candidate for homecoming queen.  Voting closes on Thursday, September 21st so don’t miss out on your chance to vote.

Students, please pick up your photos taken at registration by this Friday. They are available in the attendance office. Retakes are set for October 5th, but you won't know if you need a re-take if you don't pick up these first.

The PHHS Homecoming Parade will take place Friday, September 22nd, from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. It will begin at Prairie Point Elementary School, travel east on Belvedere and then turn and head north on Congress. Immediately following the parade, PHHS Student Council and TARKUS will host a tailgate, with food, games, and music, until the game begins. Please join us!

ART CLUB will meet Tuesday and Thursday this week after school.

PARENTS are invited to attend our first “Coffee with Counselors” discussion this Friday, September 22 from 7:00-8:00 am in the PHHS Media Center-Large Group Room. We will be discussing the senior timeline, so it will be mostly geared toward senior parents, however, anyone is welcome.  We will provide coffee.

Senior Panoramic Pictures will be taken at the Stadium on Monday, September 25th during Homeroom. Pick up your order forms from your Homeroom teachers.

The deadline to register for the October ACT is next Friday, September 22th.  The October test is one of our largest during the school year, so available seats will fill up quickly.  Please register ASAP to ensure Park Hill High School is your testing center.  If you need help,please see Mr. Abundis in room 24.

Attention all staff and students: Reed Portrait Studio will be here Thursday, October 5th for all staff pictures, underclassmen retakes and “last chance” yearbook pictures for seniors. To clarify these are NOT cap and gown pictures only yearbook. For cap and gown you must contact Reed Photo.

The Annual Academic Awards Ceremony for those students who earned a 3.5 or higher GPA  for the 2016-17 school year will be held Monday, September 25th at 7:00 in our auditorium. Please check the eligibility list posted on the library window and see Ms. Ciani in the office if you have any questions. Invitations were mailed today to the parents of the students who earned this academic recognition.

PHHS Visitor Permission Forms for Homecoming are now available in the front office. The completed form must
be turned in to Ms. Peterson in the activities office no later than 3:00pm on Wednesday, September 20, 2017.
