PTA Executive Committee and Chairs

The PHHS PTA is always looking for volunteers!

High School PTA Board meets once a month and is more behind the scenes.
The PTA can’t function without people in these positions. If you are interested or can help in any of the below positions, contact

Executive Committee….Elected Positions

President – Facilitates meetings, Leads Board
Treasurer - is responsible for managing PTA finances
Secretary – Records minutes at each meeting

Appointed Positions

Membership – Recruits and collects PTA memberships at registration and open houses then uploads membership contact information to the master list. (Full year commitment)

Reflections – Oversees the Reflections Arts in Education program (Partial year commitment)
Ways n Means (Fundraising) – Comes up with easy fundraisers to raise money to support

After Prom Party – Oversees all aspects of planning and executing the After Prom Party (Partial year commitment.)

Teacher Appreciation – Organizes food for faculty during Teacher Appreciation Week (Partial year commitment.)

Conference Meals - Organizes food for faculty during Parent-Teacher Conferences. (Partial year commitment.)

Scholarships – Promotes, collects and finds judges to select graduating senior scholarship winners. Newsletter - writes the monthyly PHHS PTA Newsletter. (Partial year commitment.)

District Council Rep – Attends the monthly District PTA Council meetings and reports back to the PHHS PTA at their monthly meetings. (Full year commitment.)

Volunteer Opportunities
In addition to these opportunities, you may also choose to help out at The Clothing Center, chaperone a dance, organize events or assist with a variety of other PTA projects.  Calls for volunteers are sent to PTA members via email.
