I have 20+ years of experience, all in the Park Hill School District. I have served in the capacity of classroom teacher, high school counselor and, currently, assistant principal of Park Hill High School. During short periods of free time I enjoy reading. Most weekends, weather permitting, I enjoy cycling. When afforded long weekends and vacations, I enjoy traveling.

I have been in education since 2004. I taught mathematics at Park Hill High School since August 2006 and taught 2 years prior to that in Lincoln, Nebraska. In addition to being a math teacher, I have had the privilege of being an AVID Elective teacher and graduated a class of AVID Seniors before becoming an assistant principal at Park Hill High School in 2018. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and earned my Master’s degree in Building Administration in 2012 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. I am currently working on my Doctoral degree in Administration. I have 2 sons and I love watching them play their favorite sports: basketball and football.

Tom Garth came to the Park Hill School District in 2008 as an English teacher at Park Hill South High School. There, he served as an administrative intern, ELA department chair and coach. In 2014, Tom moved to PHHS. He has served as an administrative intern and an interim assistant principal at PHHS for the 2015-2016 and 2020-2021 school years. Garth taught English Language Arts for 21 years and has coached for 30 years. He has been a head wrestling coach, and an assistant football, baseball and track coach in his coaching career. Tom received his master’s degree from Park University and two bachelor’s degrees from UMKC. For a second job, Tom works on the Kansas City Chiefs grounds crew, where he has worked Chiefs games for the past 32 years. In his free time, Tom enjoys spending time with Carole, his wife of 32 years, and his son and daughter-in-law Derek and Mallory. He enjoys camping, reading, and supporting the Trojans.

Hello there! I'm Touria Pratt, delighted to be one of the Assistant Principals here at PHHS. With 14 years in education under my belt, I spent 12 of those as a math teacher before transitioning into administration two years ago. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of Illinois-Springfield, followed by a Master’s Degree in Teaching from Park University, and an Educational Specialist Degree in Secondary School Administration from Northwest Missouri State University. Currently, I'm completing my Doctorate in Education Leadership at William Woods University.

On a personal note, I've been happily married for 14 years and am the proud parent of two wonderful children. I was born and raised in Morocco, so I'm fluent in Arabic!

I have been in education for 20 years.  I taught Language Arts and English as a Second Language for 12 years, before moving into administration for the last 8 years.  I received my Bachelors in Secondary Education and Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Missouri- Kansas City, a Masters in Educational Leadership from Emporia State University, and an Educational Specialist in Superintendency at Northwest Missouri State University.

I enjoy spending time with my wife and 4 sons as well as supporting all the Kansas City sports teams.
