Andrew Haws

Mr. Haws is beginning his 5th year at Park Hill High School.  Prior to his move to the Park Hill School District in 2015, Mr. Haws taught mathematics at Smithville High School for five years.  In his nine years in education, Mr. Haws has overseen numerous district programs, served as an instructional technology facilitator, and coached various sports among other responsibilities.

Mr. Haws grew up near Chicago, Illinois.  He is a proud graduate of Truman State University, where he received both his Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and his Master’s Degree in Mathematics Education.  Additionally, Mr. Haws received his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Park University and will finish coursework for his Doctoral Degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in the fall of 2019.

Mr. Haws loves spending time with his family and has a two-year old son.  Outside of education and family, Mr. Haws is passionate about traveling, the Chicago Cubs, and cooking.
